Flatter with a Platter

Hola!! Been away from the blog for a bit, due to a long cycle of fever and festivities. Well they are both over now and I don’t know whether to be happy or sad !!

Today I want to share inspiration for creating a feature wall in your space, using an easy inexpensive way of mounting an unusual collage!! One can do this with baskets…bowls…ceramic plates…the possibilities are endless. I think it’s a wonderful alternative for art and can lend a unique “curated” character to your space!!collage7

Woven baskets in a mix of sizes and colours can make for a delightful graphic display!!

I simply cant get enough of this tribal basket goodness!! collage-2  collage9

One can accentuate that mundane wall with a collection of plates in a directional or symmetric fashion depending upon the space u have at hand and what u want to highlight. It works wonderfully well on coloured walls as well !! collage11

Here is a little peek into how I have added a dash of color into my Dining Space!

You too can bring that artisan feel to your space with an interplay of handmade studio ceramic wares!!

If on a budget, simple prints in embroidery frames can make for an interesting display too…choose a colourful collection to brighten up your space!!

So why wait any longer…make your wall a canvas….and get creative!!
